The Spring Treat peach was selected for its remarkable ability to produce commercial quality fruit in areas with only 250 to 300 winter chilling hours. This yellow-fleshed semi-freestone matures in the 3rd week of May and produces fruit of medium to large size (2-3/8" to 3") with good flavor and firm flesh. In fruit evaluations at Dave Wilson Nursery the Spring Treat peach stood out for its attractive red skin color. (U.S. Plant Patent No. 12419)
