NORTHPOLE TM COLUMNAR APPLE Large, red-skinned
McIntosh-type fruit is crisp, juicy and aromatic. Attractive, distinctive,
narrow-growing (columnar) tree, grows to about ten feet. Trees topped
for height control develop upright side limbs. Easily adapted to container
growing. Estimated chilling requirement 800 hours. Pollenized by Scarlet
SentinelTM or other apple varieties.
SCARLET SENTINEL™ COLUMNAR APPLE Dense clusters of
white blossoms followed by large, delicious, red-blushed, greenish-yellow
fruit. Attractive, distinctive, narrow-growing (columnar) tree, grows to
about ten feet. Trees topped for height control develop upright side limbs.
Easily adapted to container growing. Estimated chilling requirement 800
hours. Pollenized by Northpole™ or other apple varieties.
FUYU PERSIMMON - JIRO ("Apple Persimmon") Medium size, flat
shape, still hard when ripe, non-astringent. Cool or hot climate. Hardy,
attractive tree, practically pest free. Fall harvest. 200 hours. Self-
fruitful.
MESA (CARPATHIAN) WALNUT From the University of New
Mexico. Winter hardy, late-blooming. Large, well-sealed nuts are
resistant to sunburn. Plump, light-colored kernels of good flavor. 700
hours. Self-fruitful. (Rootstock: NCB walnut.)
